2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) and served through its global content delivery network. When you visit the pages, the host automatically records information in server log files that your browser transmits:
- processed/truncated IP address
- date and time of the request
- page/file requested and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL and browser / operating system used
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). A data processing agreement is in place with the host; for transfers to the USA, Vercel relies on EU standard contractual clauses.
3. Inquiry form
When you send a message through the inquiry form, I process the data you enter: name, email address, product or description and the estimated quantity; optionally company, phone, target price, desired timeframe and message. The information is used solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) lit. b or f GDPR).
The inquiry is also stored in a database (Vercel Postgres, operated by Neon). The reason is resilience: if email delivery fails, the inquiry is not lost. The database operator acts as a processor on my behalf.
4. Email dispatch (Resend)
Transactional emails (confirmation to the sender, notification to the operator) are sent through the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which acts as a processor. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b or f GDPR. EU standard contractual clauses are relied upon for transfers to the USA.
5. Contact by email and WhatsApp
If you contact me by email, your details are stored to handle the inquiry (Art. 6 (1) lit. b or f GDPR).
For WhatsApp contact: WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; data may also be transferred to the USA. Using WhatsApp is voluntary and just one of several contact options; you can also reach me by email or through the form.
6. Cookies and web analytics
This website uses no non-essential cookies and no tracking cookies. No audience measurement and no web analytics take place.
7. Your rights
Within the statutory limits, you have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw given consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

8. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
9. Retention period
Inquiries are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for processing. Statutory retention obligations, in particular tax and commercial law periods, remain unaffected.
